The former Fokker site in Papendrecht was transformed into the high-quality residential area Merwehoofd. The location derives its qualities from its position at a three-river point in the Netherlands and the view of the historic waterfront of Dordrecht. Within the urban design by Rein Geurtsen, with a large underground parking garage that provided a car-free residential area, the emphasis is on high-quality residential forms with an urban character.
