It is a miracle that the buildings on the Kloosterstraat still exist. It withstood destruction by Munster troops in 1672, a village fire in 1676 and a demolition order in the 1960s. The buildings were so impoverished that it seemed impossible to begin. In 1973 they were nevertheless restored and used to house nurses.
