The Emmerdennen is a forest area in Emmen, The Netherlands. The first afforestation was in 1850, but as early as 1824 there was talk of sowing pine seed on the sand hills to prevent sand drifting for the farmers of Emmen and Westenesch. The highest point of the Hondsrug also lies in the Emmerdennen. In the forest there are a few lakes; Het Appeltje, Het Zandmeertje and Het Haantjebakmeer.

The forest is a walking area between the residential areas of Emmen. There is also a mini-camp near the forest. Dolmen D45, one of the ten dolmens located within the municipality of Emmen, is located in the Emmerdennen. According to tradition, the dent in one of the capstones was caused by King Louis Napoléon Bonaparte, during his visit to Drenthe in 1809, standing on top of this dolmen with his horse.
